Supported JDBC Drivers for XML Import/Export in OIS

DB2 OLAP Integration Server requires JDBC drivers to support the XML Import/Export function.

• JDBC Type 1 is compatible with all RDBMSs supported by DB2 OLAP Integration Server. It is installed when you install the Java Runtime Environment (included as an option in the Windows installation; included as a separate installation for UNIX).
• The JDBC Type 3 driver works on all platforms.
• The JDBC Type 4 driver is required by DB2 OLAP Integration Server if you are using Oracle with OCI. The JDBC Type 4 driver for Oracle works on all platforms.
