TITLE:  Advantage! 4xx Blue Line Corruption
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   When restarting Windows 95 on an Advantage! 4xx system,  vertical 
   blue lines may flash momentarily on the screen after the message 
   "Please Wait While Your Computer Shuts Down" appears.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 503066 and 501959-C03.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   This issue is purely cosmetic and does not affect the 
   functionality nor the performance of the system.    

 
ACTION 
 
   For a permanent resolution, upgrade the system BIOS to version 
   1.04 (AST part number 905582-036) or higher. 
   
   Obtain file <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/D-BIOS/05582036.EXE">05582036.EXE</A> from one of AST's On-Line! services as

      To decompress this file, create a temporary directory 
      on your hard drive, copy the downloaded file to that 
      directory, and run the file. 
   
   To upgrade to the latest BIOS, follow the instructions provided 
   in the README.TXT file included with the download.

   on one of AST's On-Line! services.
