TITLE:  Beep Codes NE2000 Clone Adapters
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   When using the NE 2000 Clone NIC which uses the Lantic/A ASIC 
   chip, the Bravo systems listed below emit a series of two long 
   and three short beep codes.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 501951, 501952, 501954, 
   501955, 501956, 501972, and 503043.

   Upgrade to BIOS version 1.03 (AST part number 905579-037) or

NOTES 
 
   Network adapters using the Lantic/A ASIC chip may exhibit
   this type of problem with BIOSes earlier than version 1.02.
