TITLE:  Bravo MS Locks w/3C595 in WinNT & Win95
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   During file transfers, the Bravo MS system may lock up causing 
   the user to reboot the system.  The issue usually occurs after 
   approximately six minutes of activity, but can take longer.
   
   This issue affects the following systems: 501951, 501952, 501954, 
   501955, 501956, 501972, 503027, 503028, 503029, and 503043.

ACTION 
 
   Update the system to BIOS version 1.03 (AST part number 
   905579-037) or greater.  File <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/D-BIOS/05579037.EXE">05579037.EXE</A> is available from one 
   of AST's On-Line! services as follows:

      To decompress this file, create a temporary directory 
      on your hard drive, copy the downloaded file to that 
      directory, and run the file. 
   
   
   Follow the user's guide instructions for updating the system 
   BIOS.  When the update is complete, restart the system to ensure 
   that all changes are read into memory.
