TITLE:  Ascentia P, Motion Pixels, Video
 
 
SUMMARY 
 
   The Ascentia P system may experience only 50% view on the LCD panel. 
   
   This issue affects all Ascentia P systems.    


ISSUE 
 
   When running Motion Pixels' Test or Demonstration software, the 
   display is shifted to the left and only 50% of the picture is 
   seen. A reboot is required to recover. 
   
   This issue affects all Ascentia P systems.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   The Ascentia P system BIOS, version 1.01, AST part number 
   905584-032 or lower, may exhibit this issue.    

 
ACTION 
 
   Update the Ascentia P system BIOS to version 1.02, AST part 
   number 905584-033 or higher. File <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/P-BIOS/05584033.EXE">05584033.EXE</A> is available from 
   one of AST's On-Line! services as follows:
