CD-ROM drive. This issue was duplicated on the 501766 system.
ISSUE
When installing software from various CD-ROM-based applications
using a Torisan CD-ROM drive, model CDR-S1G, the software may
install correctly, however, when running the application, the
program may return an unexpected application error and then stop.
BACKGROUND
Torisan firmware revision below 2.15, with serial numbers beginning
with 0 or 1, may exhibit the problem.
ACTION
Replace Torisan model CDR-S1G CD-ROM drive, AST part number
234167-410, to reflect firmware version 2.15 or later.
The AST part number will follow the revision, which should be D or
later, for example: D234167-410.
