PERCEPTA FAILS TO INSTALL DPT SUPPORT


PROBLEM

AST's Percepta server monitoring software for Novell Netware fails to load 
DPT support during installation.


CAUSE

In order to function properly, Percepta requires the DPT support Netware 
Loadable Modules (NLMs) to be at least release 1.03E.  If the file 
DPTENG.NLM reports to Percepta a release of 1.02E or lower, the Percepta 
NLMs will issue an error message indicating that the DPT support has not 
been loaded.

SOLUTION

Ensure that the file <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/S-OTHER/DPTENG.NLM">DPTENG.NLM</A> is at least release 1.03E.  If the file is at 
any lower release number, use release 1.03E or later.  

File <A HREF="ftp://ftp.ast.com/S-OTHER/DPTENG.NLM">DPTENG.NLM</A> can be located on AST's BBS (817) 230-6850, in the "Systems"
