TITLE:  NT v3.51 Support for the Ascentia P
 
 
SUMMARY 
 
   This bulletin describes Windows NT version 3.51 support on the 
   Ascentia P notebook.
   
   This issue affects all Ascentia P systems.    
 
 
NOTES 
 
   Windows NT version 3.51 does not include support for Advanced 
   Power Management (APM) or Hot Swapable PCMCIA. However, some 
   third-party suppliers do provide drivers for Advanced Power 
   Management and Hot Swap support for Windows NT, versions 3.51 and 
   4.0. 
   
   As of the date of this document, Softex is the only supplier that 
   provides support for Windows NT version 3.51. 
   
   AST has verified the basic operation of Softex APM and Socket 
   Services on the Ascentia P. 
   
   Even though AST performed basic testing on this product, AST does 
   not endorse or qualify it.
