- The CICS Clients Version 2 program package is refreshed to Version 2.0.4, delivering significant functional enhancements.
- CICS Clients Version 2.0.4 support the following platforms: OS/2 (R), Windows NT (R), Windows 95, Windows 3.1, DOS.
- CICS Universal Clients Version 3 support the following platforms: OS/2, Windows NT, Windows 98 (including Windows 95), AIX, Solaris.
- CICS Universal Client for AIX V3 replaces the CICS Client for AIX V2.11 (Program services are no longer available for CICS Client for AIX V2.11)
- CICS Universal Client for Solaris replaces the CICS Client for Solaris V2.11. Program Services for CICS Client for Solaris V2.11 is no longer available after November 30th, 1998.
6 CICS Transaction Gateway is a new product and is only available with an appropriate CICS server product.
7 This product will run on Both Windows 98 and Windows 95.
