小基板-保持具 作成 ［to English Note］ [2021/05/10]

頂き物の「PC110」が増えて、それらを「Win95」，「Win98」で動作出来るようにしておきたいので、その為の「16MB拡張メモリ」の（改造・）作成に注力している。
ところが、腕（指先？）の力が衰えてしまっているようで、挑戦力のあった昔のようには行かず、同じ物の繰り返し作成でも成功率が下がってしまった。（今日までで、3勝2敗。図２［クリック］は、2敗目の小基板）
今回の失敗の多くは、"小基板の保持"が拙かった所為ではないか、と疑った。（嘘に近いが）
あまり失敗が多いと、"意欲"を消失しそうなので、何か簡単な作業で、気力回復を狙ったというのが、真相に近い。
"スマホ・ホルダ"を改造加工して、「4MBメモリ小基板」の保持具を作ってみたら、思った以上に上手く出来上がった。（図１）
さぁ、これで次の「16MB基板」の作成に挑もう！
．．．結果は良し！ 「16MBメモリ作成（チップ置換え）」は成功して、4勝2敗となった♪
＋＋＋ スマホ・ホルダの改造 ＋＋＋
「You Tube」の動画などを拝見すると、市販の"PCBホルダ"が良く登場している。
一時、検討してみたが、"中大型基板用"が多く、私の欲しい"小基板用"ではないので、購入は止めたた。
（私の）ジャンク箱の中を探したら、サイズ的に丁度良さそうな「スマホ・ホルダ」があったので、これを改造してみた。
両横の保持板を、1～2mm残して切り取った。（図３）
幅を小基板サイズに縮める為に、切り取った横板の片方を、（加工した後）寝かせて貼り付けた。（図１の矢印）
此の保持具だけでは、軽過ぎるので、"円形金属加工材（名称不詳：約750g、約100㎜φ）"の上に、両面テープで留めた。
因みに、この"円形材"は、"文鎮・ジャンク"で探したら見付ったもの（値段は、3～4百円位）で、ステンレス製で錆も出ないし、"重し"として便利に使っている。
（もう少し小さいもの：約70㎜φも欲しいのだが、未だ見付らない）

The number of gifts "PC110" has increased, and I want to be able to operate with "Win95" and "Win98", so I am focusing on creating (modifying) "16MB extended memory" for that purpose.
However, the strength of the arm (fingertip ?) Seems to be weakening, and it does not go as to be when I was challenging . Even if the same thing was created repeatedly, the success rate dropped. (To date, 3 wins and 2 losses. Fig.2 [click] is the second small board)
I suspected that many of the failures this time were due to poor "holding of small boards". (Although it's close to a lie)
If I make too many mistakes, I will lose my "motivation", so the truth is that I aimed to recover my energy with some simple work.
I modified the "smartphone holder" to make a holder for the "4MB memory small board", and it worked better than I expected. ( Fig.1 )
Now, let's challenge to create the next "16MB board"!
+++ Smartphone holder modification +++
If I look at the video of "You Tube", I can see that "PCB holders" on the market are often used.
I considered it for a while, but I stopped purchasing it because most of them are "for medium and large boards" and not "for small boards" that I want.
When I looked inside the (my) junk box, I found a "smartphone holder" that looked just right in size, so I modified it.
The holding plates on both sides were cut off leaving 1 to 2 mm. ( Fig.3 )
In order to reduce the width to the size of a small substrate, one of the cut horizontal plates was laid down (after processing) and pasted. ( Arrow in Fig.1 )
This holder alone is too light, so I fastened it with double-sided tape on "Circular metal processing material (name unknown: about 750 g, 100 mmφ)".
By the way, this "round material" was found by searching for "paperweight/junk" (price is about \300 to \400), and it is made of stainless steel and does not rust, so it is convenient using as a "weight".
(A little smaller: I want about 70mmφ, but I haven't found it yet)
