HP OmniBook 600C - WFW

Problem: Trying to load WFW 3.11 in an HP OmniBook 600C returns the message "Driver failed to load through Card Services, switch to the enabler now. Enabler failed to initialize the card." With IOIS8 and PCMCIA_ENABLER=YES statements in the PROTOCOL.INI file, the card is not recognized in either slot.

Solution: The HP 600 has a proprietary controller that requires HP's Card and Socket Services. The following hardware configuration and software versions connect to a 3.12 server:
