I am a subscriber of your magazine and just got my latest issue. Please do me one big favor: no more Windows CE stuff in a magazine for the HP 200LX. I am also a subscriber to your Handheld PC Magazine, so I can read all about Windows CE in that magazine. But for The HP Palmtop Paper, just HP 200LX stuff. OK?

Editor's Note:
A number of members of the HP Palmtop Mailing List (see below for details on the list) voiced similar sentiments. One member complained that, If I wanted Windows CE coverage, I would have subscribed to Handheld PC Magazine. Another member said, What is disappointing is the doomsday authors who use terms like the DOS era is winding down.'"
What we are trying to do here at The HP Palmtop Paper is cover HP palmtops, and many subscribers have asked about the HP line of Windows CE devices, so we carry announcements and have a few articles that cover it.
We do not, nor have we ever, planned on extensive coverage of Windows CE in The Palmtop Paper. Almost all of the material that appears in The Paper is written by subscribers. We encourage every reader to submit an article or a basic or quick tip (see our editors guidelines at www.thaddeus.com or e-mail editor@thaddeus.com).
The HP mailing list is a good place for both the novice and advanced user to find and share palmtop information. In order to participate in this free list, all you need is an e-mail address. For instructions on how to subscribe, contact the listserve administrator, Al Kind, at mchem1@uconnvm. uconn.edu
