The complete HP PalmVue System is designed to work with the HP Care-Net Monitoring Network. HP CareNet, installed in many hospitals and other health care facilities, shares patient data among monitors placed at different bedsides. The PalmVue System is comprised of a Dispatch Station located at the nurses station and connected to the HP CareNet. The HP PalmVue Dispatch Station acquires and transmits patient data via a paging service to one or more HP M1496A Medical Palmtops specially equipped to receive and display patient data.
