In some copies of WWW/LX Plus, NEWS/LX is an incorrect version. You can receive by email a copy of the proper NEWS.EXE by sending an email to:

support@dasoft.com

Please tell us your USERNAME and REGID, as it appears on the ORIGINAL diskette of WWW/LX Plus, or POST/LX Upgrade.

Details:

By mistake, a beta version of NEWS.EXE has been distributed to several customers. When this program is run it produces the following output and refuses to run:

This program is dated July 21, 1997. (Other version may be also present, but not likely!) The correct program is dated May 31, 1997, and when it runs it produces the following output:

I take personal responsibility for this mishap and the inconvenience it causes our customers, because I was responsible for packaging the programs.
