"I would be lost without FIND/LX. I have to use it daily to find pieces of information in my databases. I have no idea how folks do about searching archives without using FIND/LX."

This utility is from the same excellent and creative source - Andreas Garzotto! It is a program that performs a similar function to UNIX' "grep" - find a string inside files. It performs the function much faster than grep because it utilizes an index for each file. Another difference is a that it can perform a "fuzzy" search. For example, it will use the string "munnich" to identify the text "Meeting in Munich".
Needless to say, the speed comes at a price - you must index the files, and the indices can occupy substantial space.
This is a freeware product, and it is NOT OFFICIALLY supported by D&A Software. You may post questions in forums where HP 100/200LX/700LX palmtops are discussed and generally you will get support.
