Your Privacy

I created DOS Days to be an ethical and honest website for the retro enthusiast or historian. As such I do not personally collect any data on visitors to the site. There is no doubt some audit trail that my Internet Service Provider logs, but this is not something that is used by me. You will notice there are no advertisements either. I have no intention of making any money from the site, since it is a hobby of mine.

 

Contributions and Intellectual Property

I welcome contributions from visitors, whether it's information, pictures or downloads that are relevant to the content on DOS Days. In all cases, I ask for permission to publish as well as whether they wish to be named or remain anonymous. Every once in a while I get a notification that an image is owned by someone else - this can happen because I often rely on contributions from visitors, and haven't necessarily sourced the material personally. Where content is created by me, I make a lot of effort to ensure I use either free [of IP] images or that they are my own. If you notice any images that are not, please let me know and I will remove them immediately, or with your permission I will credit the image to you.

If you contribute anything to DOS Days, please ensure you are the rightful owner of that item, and that there is no other copyright or ownership rights on it.
