Hi,
There are three ways to fix it:

1. Purchase the floppy disk drive. Install dos again!

2. Open DTR-1 and install HP Kittyhawk drive into another PC.  I don't
know what type of connector it has - it's 1.1" in size!

3. Call the company you bought it from and ask them for assistance in
installing IBM DOS.

I think your problem is related to Doublespace on the DTR-1.  Next time,
setup H: to have the base files you need to boot the system, then try the
upgrade.
